Large Families are Fascinating…CNN Says So!
Some people are just fascinated by the fact that large families are fascinating! CNN is even running this story on why people are so interested in large families.
So, why are people so interested? I’ve been fascinated with large families myself since I watched the Waltons and read about the Kennedy clan as a young girl. I wanted to have 11 kids – just like Robert and Ethel Kennedy! And I loved reading the stories Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy told in her book about all of the children being around the dinner table and going on errands. Of course, Rose had nannies, cooks and boarding schools to help her out!
I just kinda stumbled on to your site. We have a large family (7 kids)due to being a step family. That is a new realily for a lot of families. I think there is a lot of fansination with how parents manage that many. It is just not the norm anymore. We do not have any family or friends that have more than 3 children. I am a little disappointed at some of the criticism of some of these reality show families. I may not agree with there way of doing things, but every family has their own dynamics.
