people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.
its not a guage of knowledge it simply states that people will listen to you if they know you truley care about them and are trying to help them.
It is one of my favorite quotes. I have experienced this in my own life. People don't care how much knowledge I have, if I only talk about that. People are open to hearing truth, only when they know you care about them first. Think this is a great quote for a church to have. It goes along with scripture. We are to love and care for others in need, like Christ did. The Pharisees of Jesus' time did not care about people at all, they just cared about telling others how righteous they were.
We have a quote that we try and live by at our church-
